Penticton Peach Festival Parade Outing

On August 9th, our Senior Mental Enrichment Program attended the Penticton Peach Festival Parade, a signature summer celebration known for its festive atmosphere and community spirit. Participants enjoyed watching colourful themed floats roll by, accompanied by lively music, dance performances, and vibrant displays that filled the streets with energy and excitement. The parade featured elegantly dressed Miss Penticton and Penticton Princess waving to the crowd, impressive marching and military bands performing spirited pieces, and a striking horse procession that showcased strength and grace. A playful highlight of the day was the use of water guns along the parade route, adding laughter and refreshing fun to the warm summer celebration. Overall, the outing offered a lively and memorable experience that celebrated local culture, agriculture, and community connection.
